Bisan Systems Ltd., the market leader in ERP solutions in Palestine, has an immediate, full-time career opening, based at its Ramallah headquarters for a Back-End Software Engineer.  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and testable back-end code to build new application features and extensions.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and database structures to support high-performance financial applications.
• Analyze business requirements during planning sessions and propose high-level architectural recommendations for enterprise-grade systems.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding best practices, and contribute to optimizing the entire software development life cycle.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for application modules, fixing bugs and optimizing code for better efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming.
• Excellent knowledge of Java (Java Certified Engineer certification is a plus).
• Experience developing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Knowledge of accounting standards is a plus.
• Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle.
• Good command of English language.
